Hi, I'm Steve McEvoy. I’m an Employment Specialist passionate about helping job seekers with and without disabilities, secure employment and thrive in their careers. I’m a former New York City public school teacher with a Masters degree in teaching from Columbia University.

Through my personal journey as a working professional with cerebral palsy, I have mastered the challenges of job seekers with disabilities who navigate a world not designed with our unique needs in mind. The working world and employment marketplace are not exceptions to these realities.

Through one-on-one consultation sessions, my clients and I build a personalized path to secure meaningful employment. Clients receive individualized attention to take control of their employment search and begin their fulfilling career journey.

I founded McEvoy Access to accomplish two goals

1: Guide job seekers with and without disabilities to the words “you’re hired”faster than they knew was possible.

2: Teaching employers how hiring and marketing to employees and consumers with disabilities increases profits and market share.
